The brothers Castor and Pollux (they were not twins, but shared a mother, Leda) are the symbol of the deepest brotherhood. They were good at horse riding, Castor was good at fighting and both were the protectors of sailors. Here they are depicted as two modern surfers about to ride the Mediterranean waves.
